Description

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to procure 691,766 manhours of services for technical services for deploying enabling technologies which improve availability, increase reliability and decrease maintenance and workload requirements for machinery systems and components on naval ships. Offerors must be SUBSAFE certified.Systems include but are not limited to Machinery Control Systems, Damage Control Systems, Fuel Control, Bridge and navigation, Environmental, HVAC, Nalcomis. Statement of Work includes but is not limited to new system installations, alterations and modifications of above mentioned systems in addition to other Hull, Mechanical and Electrical and Electronics systems such as Auxiliaries, Hull and Deck,Habitability and Mess Systems and Equipment. It is anticipated award will reslut in an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract for a period of 60 months. The requirement will be solicited on an Unrestricted basis. North American Industry Classification Code 541330. The Government shall elect to award a single contract or to award multiple contracts to two or more sources. It is anticipated award will be made by 01 December 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center,Carderock Division, Philadelphia.
