17. The formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for Solicitation F29601-00-R-0005, Operations and Management of the Maui Supercomputing Center (MSC), located in the town of Kihei, in Maui, Haiwaii, has been released. Interested parties may obtain copies of the RFP (Sections A-M) (Attachments 1-7 and Exhibit A) by accessing the "EPS.gov" website (FedBizOpps). (Use the following path after the main web page is accessed: EPS for Vendors/USAF Offices/Air Force Material Command (AFMC) locations/AFRL-PL "Directed Energy,"/Kirtland AFB, NM ("Posted dated"). NOTE: The proposed contract is to be a 100 percent set-aside for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Institutions (MIs), as defined by the clause at 252.226-7000 of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
