Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is conducting a a market survey seeking sources currently involved in research to advance the state of art of thermionic power conversion in the United States, developing high performance and highly reliable non-nuclear thermionic converters for space applications that provide high output power per unit of system mass, and demonstrating the capabilities of these converters. This is a sources sought synopsis. No solicitation document exists at this time. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in the CBD. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for release of any future solicitation or synopsis. Offerors having the capability to accomplish this work are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought synopsis to the contract specialist at judy.rodgers@dtra.mil no later than 2 February 2001. Company information should include qualifications and experience in work of this nature, point of contact, business size and disadvantaged, 8(a) or HUBZone. Any information submitted in response to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought.
