Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station intends to award a purchase order for the repair of 1 each Doppler DVL 1553 Transducer, Part Number 315, to RD Instruments, 9855 Businesspark Ave, San Diego, Ca 92131-1113 on a sole-source basis. This unit was designed and manufactured by RD Instruments, and the Government does not own the rights in data necessary to permit any other company to perform the repairs on this proprietary system. Delivery will be to the Receiving Officer, Coastal System Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, Fl 32407-7001. Required delivery date will be 90 days after award of contract. A firm-fixed price service contract is anticipated. Note 22 applies.
