Description

This acquisition is being set aside for Small Business Administration (SBA) Section 8(a) small business concerns subject to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 235610 with a size standard of $11.5 Million. The project is located at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. The project involves the removal, repair, and installation of various or specific types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles and clay tile, EPDM, rolled roofing and BURS, and Standing Seam metal. The project may entail coordinating efforts with others to accomplish work on roofs that consist of more than one type of roofing system. Work includes but is not limited to, removal of existing roofing systems, repair to existing roofing systems, installation of new roofing systems, repair to roof decks and fascia, sheet metal work including various types of flashing, installation of gutters and downspouts, and waterproofing of gutters and metal roofs. Performance period for resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 365 calendar days with 2 Option Year periods. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 28 Feb 2001 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal_Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. When solicitation is downloaded, it should be read completely, as there are milestones an offeror will need to meet to be considered responsive.
