Description

DESC: The USDA, ARS, CSRL, Waste Management and Forage Uint at MSU wants to procure a Biolog Microstation, Intergraded Hardware and Software System designed to identify bacteria, yeasts and molds. Systems Features are as follows: Inentification of over 2,000 microorganisms to include: aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, yeast, and filamentous fungi. The system must uses five proprietary test GN2 test plates (Gram negative) covering 501 species. GP2 plates (Gram positive) covering 318 species. YT plates (yeast) 267 species. AN plates (anaerobic) coverning 395 species, and FE plates (filamentous fungi) covering 618 species in accordance with specification as stated in the solicitation. An RFQ will be issued on or about February 30, 2001. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the RFQ Package.
