Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract in support of the Chemical Weapons Convention Treaty International Inspectors. Contractor must provide fifteen (15) lodging rooms complete with kitchenettes, cable television, and telephone service, on a daily basis, for not less than six (6) months. Contractor must also provide one (1) Duty Office to include two (2) parking spaces designated for "Official Government Vehicles," and conference room availability (minimum 1,500 square feet) on an hourly and or daily basis. The six (6) month period of performance for the Basic Contract is April 1 through September 30, 2001. The intended contract will include two (2) six (6) month options to extend the period of performance through September 30, 2002. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have five (5) business days from the date of publication of this Synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after (5) business days, or without the required information, will be non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement. Based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Hale, Jr. Responses to this notice must be received by close of business, February 2, 2001. Responses must include your name, point of contact, address and telephone number with area code.
