Description

The Sumter National Forest plans to contract for Reroofing of the Chattooga Picnic Shelter and the Yellow Branch Picnic Shelter on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District, Oconee County, South Carolina. The work shall include the removal and disposal of existing building felt; replacement of decayed roof decking, painting or staining of roof deck replacement; installation of metal flashing, treated shakes, building felt, starter shakes, and ridge and valley shakes. Contactor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials and perform all work in accordance with the specifications and exhibits of the contract. No materials, labor or equipment will be furnished by the Government unless specifically identified in the Government Furnished Property clause. Project range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation package will be available February 9, 2001 with a closing date of March 16, 2001. All quotes must be received before 4:30 p.m. on March 16, 2001 at the following address: USDA Forest Service, Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests, 4931 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29212-3530.
