Description

The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Metrum-Datatape Inc., 3322 S. Memorial Pkwy, Suite 49, Huntsville, AL 35801-5335, phone 256-881-2231. This award will be made under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition, and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This is notification to interested parties. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0006. The requirement is for a Metrum-Datatape Model M64 VLDS digital recorder along with a set of required systems under test configuration/integration components. This digital recording hardware is an upgrade of a vital part of the Freeman Computer Sciences Center_s data collection, recording, extraction, reduction, analysis and reporting capability required to support DT&E and OT&E at AAC. It is used to provide required real-time and post-mission recording of critical systems under test mission performance data off the AIM-9X and Tomahawk missile systems. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334513. The size standard for the NAICS code is 500 employees.
