Description

The US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, Gov.Works intends to purchase one (1) each, High power CW Amplifier, Mdl 30000W1000 or equivalent with 80-1000 MHz frequency. Use of solid state electronics or tubes will be considered. The item is intended for use by the Redstone Technical Test Center, Huntsville, AL, and is needed within 9 months of contract award. FOB Destination and firm-fixed price with all shipping costs included in the quoted price. All expressions fo interest shall be received within 10 business days after date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government. This date will not be extended. No solicitation document exists for this requirement, however, a specification from one manufacturer, is available and may be faxed to vendors upon request from the Contracting Officer. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considerly solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will select the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing a response to this notice. This is a commercial item acquisition under FAR Part 12, and FAR clauses 52.212-1, -2, -4, and -5 apply. Representations and certifications from FAR 52.212-3 must be completed, as well as vendor's DUNS and TINS numbers, and bank EFT/ACH information. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334310.
