- Description
- The Government intends to award a contract to Fred Friendly Seminars, Inc., New York, New York for Moderator and audiovisual services for the NICI Training Team's Current and Emerging Trends seminar 9-12 July 2001. This solicitation is issued as an (RFQ) DAHA04-01-T-8016. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. The SIC Code is 8741. This will be a firm fixed price contract. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: *Specialize in "Socratic Dialog" styled symposiums and have experience in conducting these seminars with government agencies. *Experience in producing, filming, editing and providing a finished visual copy of the seminar in " videocassette recorded format. *Final edited version of the videocassette will be a minimum of 1 hour and a half and not exceed a two hour maximum in the execution of the seminar. *Identify, with final approval authority at NICI, and secure a 15 member panel (plus backups) of subject matter experts NLT 9 FEB 2001. *Provide a facility capable of holding 500 people. *Provide free access to a facility with built in audiovisual capabilities to include but not limited to: front or rear screen projection, power point slide viewing software, personal computer capable, multiple speakers, appropriate chairs/desks to accommodate all of the people, tables to accommodate 15 panelists. *Identify facility NLT 9 Feb 2001. *Must be familiar with NICI curriculum development process for the Current Issues and Emerging Trends Symposium. *Must have proven working relationship with Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). *Must have proven working relationship with Stanford University and Stanford University Law School. *Must create a PRINTED Counterdrug scenario that will drive the Current Issues and Emerging Trends Seminar discussion and provide copies to the panel as well as the "breakout" groups. *MUST SURRENDER COPYRIGHTS OF ALL PRINTED AND RECORDED MEDIA. *Must provide a price structure or quote of ALL associated costs NLT 9 FEB 2001.
