Description

THE PURPOSE OF THIS MODIFICATION IS TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS FOLLOWS: The work consists of the contractor furnishing all plant, labor, parts, tools, personnel, equipment, supervision and materials neccesary to perform subject project. Work is comprised of the removal of all carpet, baseboard, door thresholds, and abatement of chrysotile asbestos mastic where designated by contract drawings. Work will include removal of approximately 22,000 ft2 carpet (which will be disposed of as asbestos containing material), about 5,800 linear feet of baseboard, about 435 linear feet of door threshold; and abatement of approximately 22,000 ft2 of chrysotile asbestos mastic. The carpet was installed over old tile mastic. It should be assumed all mastic beneath the existing carpet contains asbestos. Samples have been taken of suspect materials in this facility _ report included at attachment. The NAICS code is 562910 and 235520 with a size standard of 11.5 million. The magnitude of this project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This award is being made under full and open competitive conditions. This solicitation is paperless only.
