Description

The RCO Seckenheim seeks interested commercial sources to provide Base Maintenance Services to the US Army in support of the 6th Area Support Group Stuttgart mission. Services include the following: Work Reception and Facilities Management Services, Building Systems Inspection and Maintenance, Roads and Grounds Maintenance, Utilities Operations and Maintenance, Facilities Repair and Special Operations, Army Family Housing Maintenance, Housing Services, Change of Occupancy Services, Army Family Housing Repair, AFH Restoration and Special Services, Alteration and Minor Construction and Other Public Works Services. Solicitation will contain DFARS 252.222.7002, Compliance with Local Labor Law and DFARS 252.225-7042, Authorization to perform. The proposed contract will be for a basic period 01 Dec 2001- 30 November 2002, will include 4 option years and the possibility to earn three additional "award term" extension years by excellent performance. (= total performance up to 8 years) In preparation of the solicitation (DAJA02-01-R-0005) industries comments are desired. The draft Performance Work Statement will be posted on the internet for review. Industry is invited to meet with the US Army Technical and Contracting Team on 14 February 2001 at the Officers Club, Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart (Germany)to discuss the project and to familiarize with the proposed contract terms.
