Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for an Intensified-Gated Camera for Optical Diagnostics. Item 1: Princeton Instruments, PI-MAX 512RB Intensified-Gated Camera (or equal); Part No. PI-MAX 512RB-18-GII-FG-P46 (or equal); Quantity: 4 each, with the following specifications: Thermoelectricall Cooled Head; 512X512 Pixel Resolution; 1.27:1 Fiber-Optic Bonded 18MM Grade 1 Plus Gen II Image Intensifier; Front Illuminated CCD; 19UX19U Pixel Size; 12.4MMX12.4MM Active Area; Gating Speed Down to 2NS FWHM; TTL Gating Input; P46 Phosphor; 3 US Interframe Decay Time; MCP Bracket Pulsing; Thomson TH7895M Grade 1 CCD; Accept C-Mount, Nikon F Mount, or Spectrometer Mount; Has Nikon F Mount Installed; Built in HV Pulser; Sensitivity 1 to 80 ADU SW Controlled, CCD Dark Curre NT -8E/Pixel/Sec at 20 Degree C; Rep Rate 250 KHZ (Burst); 50 KHZ Sustained; Spectral Range 200 NM to 900 NM. Item 2: Camera Controller, Princeton Instruments Model ST-133 Dual 16/100 16/1M PTG (or equal); Quantity: 4 each, with the following specifications: Program Timing Generator; Software Controlled HV Pulse timing; Controls Gate Width and Delays; Rep Rate: .1 HZ to 1 MHZ; Delay Range: 0 NS to 20 MS; Insertion Delay: <28 NS; Gate Width: Adjustable from 2 NS to 20 MS; Dual Speed I/O Interface; 16 Bits at 100 KHZ, 14 Bits at 1 MHZ; Fiberoptic Serial Link Allows Fiberoptic Isolated Link to Camera Head; Includes 100M F.O. Item 3: Mounting Kit; Quantity: 4 each, with the following specifications: Includes Extra Mount Adaptor to Attach Standard "C" Mount Lenses to Camera and a Mount Adaptor to Attach the Camera to a Spectrometer. The Camera comes with a Nikon F Bayonet Mount Installed. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-21. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 421410 and 1379, respectively. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within 45 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 4:30p.m., CST on February 12, 2001, and may be mailed or faxed to Lee Whalen, PS52-M, MSFC, AL 35912 or (256)256-2812 and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html to submit a quotation. Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 with the exception of (d), (h), and (i). If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
