Description

This is a request for Quotes to secure services for an excavator with operator to perform grapple piling of logging slash, pre-existing slash, and manzanita with a "lift and pile" mechanism on approximately 241 acres of National Forest Land. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals to perform all work specified therein. This project is located on the Grindstone Ranger District, Mendocino National Forest in Glenn County, California. No pre-quote tour will be held. The Government will award the contract to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government, based price and past performance. Estimated issue date is February 15, 2001 with an estimated due date of March 16, estimated start work date is May 21.
