Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) soliciting proposals for participation in the Aerospace Education Services Program to be performed at NASA Headquarters and NASA Field Center Educational Program Offices including: Ames Research Center, Dryden Flight Research Center, Glenn Research Center, Goddard Space Flight Center, Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, and the Stennis Space Center. This requirement is a follow-on to contract NASW-5043 with Oklahoma State University. The selected organization will collaboratively participate in the following: provide leadership in the support for systemic improvement, state-based programming, the design of customized workshops, and staff development; follow current AESP programming to meet the requirements of NASA's Implementation Plan for Education 1999-2003; organize convention activities for state, regional, and national education conferences; and provide technical support and training to specialists for computer hardware and software use. Additionally the recipient will design, develop, and implement research-based education training for Aerospace Education Specialists in state-based educational reform activities; educational technology utilization; NASA mission; mathematics, science, technology and geography content; and educational pedagogy. The CAN and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a worldwide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
