Description

Contractor shall sypply all labor,material,supervision, and equipment to renovate 7 labortory rooms in Bldg.200,located at the USDA,ARS,BArc-East facility in Beltsville,Maryland 20705-2350. In accordance with the Statement of Work,Drawings and Specifications. All work is to be completed in 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Only one site visit is scheduled for February 22, 2001 at 9:00 A.M., meeting in back of Bldg. 200, Barc-East, off Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, Maryland 20705-2350. This requirement is being procured under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Program. This solicitation will be issused as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 12, 2001. A reasonable nunber of copies of the solicitation available on first-come-first-served-basis. Written request only, specifiying the RFQ number (3K47-RW4040) submitted to the following address, USDA,ARS, Bldg. 426,Rm. 108, Barc-East, Att: Renay Weissman, Beltsville, Maryland 20705-2305 or FAXED 301-504-5468. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. Anticipated award date of March 10, 2001. FAX Quotes acceptable. Award will be made to the responsive/responsible offeror at a fair and reasonable price. A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded.
