Description

Z -- This is a second notice, first notice canceled due to lack of response. This notice is to furnish all labor, materials and necessary equipment to deliver and stockpile the following construction materials; 1) 640 cubic yards of loose rock riprap; 2) 370 cubic yards of road gravel; 3) 310 cubic yards of 6" minus rock; and, 4) 320 cubic yards of structural fill. This material shall be stockpiled at the location as directed by the Refuge Manager at the Dakota Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Ludden Dam, located approximately five miles south of Ludden, North Dakota, T.129 N., R.60 W., Sections 34 and 35. The Road Gravel shall meet the requirements of "Temporary Traffic Surface Aggregate", the structural fill shall be "select backfill" as described in the specifications (available upon request) and that of the North Dakota Department of Transportation. If field stone is utilized, the Contractor shall be responsible for contacting and coordinating with the individual landowners. Completion of this project is scheduled for no longer than 60 days from award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the changes effective on December 20, 2000, Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. Interested firms should request information regarding the specifications no later than February 8, 2001. Acceptance of quotation of this requirement shall be no later than close of business, March 8th, 2001, and shall be submitted to the address indicated in this announcement. Fax'd quotes are acceptable and may be fax'd to 303-236-4791, Attn: Gerri Sylliaasen. Please reference the quotation number, your company name, address, telephone number, Tax Identification Number (TIN) and Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) on your quote. The FAR Provisions at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial are applicable to this acquisition.
