Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to enter into negotiations with Northrop Grumman to procure one 15 Ton Vapor Cycle Test Stand, Systems and Facilities Engineering Support and associated Integrated Logistics Support Data for the Taiwan Air Force. The Government intends to procurement these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Northrop Grumman is the developer of the 15 Ton Vapor Cycle System and sole manufacturer of the new E-2T Hawkeye 2000E Aircraft. The Government does not own any data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-01-R-0143. Information should be received no later than 15 February 2001. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be available.
