- U UPDATE AND PRESENT A COURSE OF INSTRUCTION ENTITLED PROJECT TEAM BUILDING. SOL DACW87-01-Q-0007 DUE 02/20/01 POC Contract Specialist Tonju Butler (256)895-1166 The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama intends IAW FAR 6.302 to make a sole source award to the University of Tennessee Management Development Center to provide all services, personnel, material, audio visual aids, training aids, travel and lodging necessary to administer and present a course of instruction for sessions on Project Team Building. This is not a formal solicitation. The synopsis of intent is to make a sole source award and is not a request for quotes. Contractors who can provide the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center with the above services are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response which includes, as a minimum, the proposed credentials and qualifications, any applicable pricing data and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. The contractor shall provide a team of two instructors who are qualified by education and experience in the professional disciplines to which the subject matter relates. Each instructor shall have had 500 hours of teaching experience during the last 5 years in the following subjects: (1) management of technical employees, scientists and engineers; (2) management of technology based organizations; (3) management of organizational change and behavior; (4) conflict management and negotiating; and (5) strategic management and business philosophies. Documentation of teaching experience shall include: (1) when and where; (2) teaching audience; (3) names of instructors; (4) title and brief description of the course taught; (5) course length; (6) actual hours taught by each instructor. Each instructor shall possess an earned doctorate's degree from an accredited college or university in Management or Strategic Management. Each proposed instructor shall provide a copy of their diploma for documentation of doctorate's degree. The contractor shall arrange for classroom and a lodging facility, with single sleeping rooms for students. Contractor must provide roundtrip transportation from lodging to classroom site, if necessary. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis, and all such responses will be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 61143. The following information should be included with the response: duns number, tax identification, cage code and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
