Description

DESC: 1010-01-442-2313, Part Number 12598114, M203 Quad Sight Assembly. The estimated requirements for the next 5 years are as follows: FY 01-3,929 each, FY 02-7,887 each, FY03-5,585, FY 04-9,053 and FY05 5,874 each. FOB is Origin. For use on the M203. Estimated issue date is February 12, 2001. This solicitation will result in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a period of 5 years. The minimum guaranteed quantity for this solicitation is 3,929 each. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. FAR 12 Commercial Acquisition Procedures and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this solicitation. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil.
