Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order with Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation. The contractor is required to 1) provide engineering support for USN propeller integration activities; 2) Adjust Secondary Low Pitch Stop (SLPS) shafts during flight testing, remove them from flight test propellers and replace shafts on all Flight Test AVM's with final configuration shafts after flight test determination of GI and FY settings; 3) Provide a redesign for mounting material failure as a result of the EPC vibration and shock evaluation, as well as provide an EPC to replace the spare flight test EPC previously used for the EPC vibration and shock test; 4) Change the EPC100-2 software such that the ARINC429 output format will be compatible with the US Navy JcAIR Model 429E ARINC Transmitter/Receiver; 5) Provide engineering support through completion of Phase I Flight test and during the Re-Calibration Period and Phase 2 of Flight Testing; and 6) Inspect and repair Foreign Object Damaged Blade S/N FR069PR.
