Description

Hose, Nonmetallic. 7 in. ID, 35 ft. length, mil spec titled 'Hose, Rubber, Petroleum Based Fuels and Water Services, Discharge Only, Smooth Bore, Lightweight Buoyant Type'. YPC00297000980; NSN 4720-00-817-7781. In accordance with specification MIL-H-22240F. A First Article Test is included in the solicitation. Quantity of 227 each to be delivered to DDSP New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA within 370 days after date of contract and 335 each to be delivered to XU Def Dist Depot, Stockton, CA within 370 days after date of contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 19 Feb 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings are posted with the solicitation on the DSCC solicitation web-site. If the drawings are not posted with the solicitation, see Clause L07 -- Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. Federal, Military and Commercial specifications cannot be provided by DSCC. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
