Description

The National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole source procurement to Robbins Scientific for a Hydra-384 Microdispenser w/cables, duraflex replacement barrel and a cycleplate 384DW. The micro-dispenser must be capable of tranferring 0.1u1 of DNA to 384 separate dots onto a nylon membrane accurately, without cross contamination. The microdispenser is unique that it can accurately reproduce blots with as little volume as 100nl. It also comes equipped with Duraflex syringe needles. The Duraflex syringe needles are made of a titanium alloy which will bend but will retain their original shape and prevent syringe damage.
