Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Nilfisk of America, Inc to procure Non-General Services Administration (GSA) auxiliary items and initial consumables as part of a (GSA) order for 28 each Pneumatic Backpack Vacuum Kits under Blanket Purchase Agreement No. N68335-00-A-0267. The items (per kit quantities) being purchased are: Replacement Filter PN-01780026, 6 Each; 3 mm replacement needles, flat PN-01780020, 230 Each; 3 mm replacement needles, chisel pointed, PN-01780021, 230 Each, 4.5" Super coarse disc PN-01780133, 50 Each; 4.5" 24 grit coated abrasive disc PN-01780141, 20 Each; 4.5" 36 grit coated abrasive disc PN-01780142, 50 Each; 4.5"60 grit coated abrasive disc PN-01780143, 30 Each, Conversion kit to use abrasive discs PN-01780145, 1 Each; 5 Ft. Ultra Lite Long Handle Needle Descaler (includes dust collector shroud) PN-01780550, 1 Each 6" 6" Plastic Hose w/curved steel wand PN-12097500, 1 Each. Each pneumatic backpack vacuum with consumable items has to be packaged in one unitized kit in order to facilitate warehouse tracking and storage, and ultimate distribution to various ships. Nilfisk of America is the only known source able to supply the complete kits. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation package will NOT be available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
