DESC: Synopsis: This is a fixed-price Indefinite delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract for CONNECTOR PLUG, NSN: 5935-01-336-9017AL, P/N: 44095-30P-303 or 654478-3 applicable to AIM-120 Missile. Line item 0001 is for 1,860 each, with 4 outyear options with Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) of 900 each. The minimum buy for this contract is 1,860 each with a maximum purchase of 5,450 each. Delivery of initial items is 31 Mar 2001. Material: Corrosion resistant steel type 303 SE ASTM A582 and CRES ASTM A581. Function: Provides electrical connection between missile and launcher. Dimensions: 1.5" x .885" -- .865". The approximate issue date will be 23 Feb 01 with the approximate response date of 23 Mar 01. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
