Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0064 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 54138 and the size standard is $5M (annual revenues). This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001; Qty 1 LO, Shock testing, IAW NAVSURWARCENDIV Crane SOW and NAVSEA DWGs 5036884, 5036885, 5036886, 5036887, 5036888, 5036889 which are available for downloading at address listed below. CLIN 0002; QTY 1 LO, Data IAW CDR'Ls and DID's. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 12 weeks after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
