Description

This is a sources sought notice. The U. S. Coast Guard's Aircraft Repair & Supply Center is interested in companies that can provide various metals to be used in the repair of aircraft. Specifically, Aluminum 2024-T351(QQA250/4 & QQA225/6), Aluminum 7075-T351(QQA250/12 & QQA225/9), 17-4PH Stainless Steel(AMS5643), 304 Stainless Steel(QQ-S-763), 316 Stainless Steel(QQ-S-763), Phenolic Plate, 4130 Steel, 4340 Steel, Steel Structural Tubing(ASTM A-500), Aluminum/Bronze(QQC465), Brass/Navy and Copper/Beryllium(Alloy 172). Certification of grade, series, type, composition of metal, heat treat level, hardness(KSI or Rockwell) and MSDS will be required for all items ordered.
