Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to negotiate a Purchase Order with Hibbitt, Karlson & Sorensen, Inc. for the renewal of the ABAQUS software license. The ABAQUS software performs computer modeling of tests and it is an essential part of the curved girder bridge and high performance research projects. Because this software is vital in performing laboratory tests and Hibbitt, Karlson & Sorenson, Inc. are the manufacturers of this software, they are the only known source for the renewal of this software license. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is February 16, 2001.
