- Description
- The National Park Service requires contracting services to implement and maintain a Third Party Draft (TPD) payment system that allows the agency to make selected payment using payment instruments rather that cash. The system requires a controlled, third party draft. The draft will be drawn on the Contractor's account and will be reimbursed on a daily basis as described in the Statement of Work. The contractor must be able to service approximately 1500 draft writers issuing about 160,000 drafts annually, with total payments estimated at 30 million dollars. The TPD system is used throughout the NPS as a regular payment system. Drafts must be negotiable in all fifty states and US territories. The Request for Proposal will be issued approximately March 5, 2001 and proposals are due April 9,2001. Requests must be in writing and received at the address stated above.
