Description

This a request for proposal for 2 X 12 X 16 rough full sawn, fire retardant, Douglas Fir, Ty-2, CAT-2. 50,000 BF. Construction Plywood, " X 48" X 96", 5-ply, fire retardant, TY-A Grade C-C, Exterior TY-2 Cat-2, 1,320 Sheets.. FOB Destination Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton WA 98314. THE GOVERNMENT ANTICIPATES THAT FINAL NEGOTIATED PRICING WILL BE THROUGH A REVERSE AUCTION This procurement is in accordance with the format in part 12. This is a 100%small business set-aside. Note 1 applies. All responsible sources may submit offer/bid which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Written requests may be faxed to (360) 476-2931 or e-mailed to FISCPS_bid_officer@puget.fisc.navy.mil. This solicitation N00406-01-R-5091 is issued as a request for proposal. Given that this category falls with in the annual forecast as published in the Commerce Business Daily and in accordance with Far 5.203(h) the time frame for publication of the synopsis and receipt of offers has been reduced to 18 days.
