Description

The Department of Justice intends to procure the services of Patricia Henry, on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR PART 13), for on-going work to provide technical expertise and management support in the Congressionally directed consolidation of it's land mobile communications. The system design and authorization process includes negotiations with other Government agencies and coordination with Canada and Mexico. The system's infrastructure will affect all 50 states, Guam and Puerto Rico. Communications are critical to the law enforcement mission of the entire Justice department and essential as the lifeline in critical safety of life situations. This notice is for informational purposes only and any responses received as a result of this intent, will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.*****
