DESC: CORRECTION: (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) The solicitation number is N00600-01-Q-5551. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21 and Defense Acquisition Circular/DCN 20001213. (4) The standard classification code is 3582, and the small business sized standard is 500 employees -- SEE Note 1. (5) SCHEDULE. A list of the Contract Line Item Numbers are: CLIN 0001: Lease of Washers (with option to extend up to 36 months)- Wascomat Heavy Duty Commercial Washer/Extractor, model EX15, qty 16 each, includes all parts, labor and 24-hour response, 7 days a week, CLIN 0002: Dryer -- Lease of Dryers (with option to extend up to 36 months) -- Whirlpool, model GCE 2900XSW or equal, qty 16 each, includes all parts, labor and 24-hour response, 7 days a week. (6) SPECIFICATIONS. CLIN: 0001, 15-lb capacity, 110v capacity outlet, max width 34", max depth 36", max ht 80", ability to run off " hot and cold water lines and ability to drain utilizing 1 " drain, CLIN 0002: 250v capacity outlet, minimum 15lb capacity, max width 34", max depth 36", max ht 80" and ability to vent utilizing 4" vent. CLIN 0003: Installation, qty 1 lot. (7) DELIVERY is to be made FOB Destination to Washington, DC. (8) All offerors must call GySgt O'Neal or Capt Dalkiwicz on 202-433-4604 to set up a site visit on 07 Feb or 08 Feb, between the hours of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Location: Marine Barracks, 8th & I Street, SE, Washington, DC 20374, (8) INSTRUCTIONS. FAR 52.212-1 is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. (9) EVALUATION. FAR 52.212-2 is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. The following factors will be used to evaluate offerors: technical acceptability, price and delivery. (10) CERTIFICATIONS. Quoters shall include a completed copy of all the certifications in FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 with its quote. (11) FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and applies to this solicitation and resulting contract. (12) FAR 52.212-5 is incorporated by reference and applies to this solicitation and resulting contract. Only FAR 52.212-5 paragraph (a), (b)(3), (b)(6), (b)(7), (b)(8), (b)(9), and (e) apply. DFARS 252.212-7001 incorporates by reference the following DFARS clauses: 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7036. (13) Additional Contract Terms and Conditions and Solicitation Provisions: The following clauses or provisions are incorporated by reference: 52.204-6 Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number, 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, and 52.232-33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment. The following clauses are incorporated by full text: 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT. (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor prior to expiration of the contract; provided that the government shall give the Contractor preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 30 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the government to an extension. (b) If the government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option provision consideration. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years. STANDARD COMMERCIAL WARRANTY. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard commercial warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the "Inspection" clause nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial warranty. The standard commercial warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable material and/or services listed in the Schedule. (14) DPAS rating is n/a. (15) n/a.
