Description

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is = seeking sealed bids for IFB -- C-1059 for Contract 1B0034. The work of = this Contract is for the general preparation of the selected site = location for construction of the New York Avenue Metrorail Station. The = work will include, but not be limited to, the following activities: = Clearing, grubbing, excavation, and site cleanup; Demolition and = disposal of an existing building and existing concrete structures and = paving; Preliminary stormwater management; Installation of sediment and = erosion control measures; Construction of drainage structures; and = Remediation of existing environmental issues including the removal and = disposal of lead paint chips, asbestos caulking and = petroleum-contaminated soil. Estimated cost range is $3,000,000 to = $5,000,000. Work to be completed within 180 cds after NTP.
