Description

This is a solicitation notice. The work includes renovating air conditioning system at Gymnasium Building 338, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Stations (NCTS), Guam. Schedule of work: Install new air conditioning system and associated work. Replacement of acoustical ceiling and cement plaster ceiling. Construction of exterior fur-out wall to enclose the new mechanical ducts. Covering existing louvered windows in the Basketball Court with " thick Plexiglas. Installation of pre-fabricated steel mezzanine in the Mechanical Room for the new air handling unit. Construction of new mechanical pads and screen walls. Saw cutting existing walls for new duct penetrations Misc. roof repair as a result of new mechanical work. Miscellaneous repair of existing insulation. Miscellaneous touch-up and painting. Replace exhaust fans at Restrooms, Lockers Rooms, and Storage. Associated electrical work to support the new mechanical system. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Plans and Specs will be available electronically on 23 February 2001 by downloading from NAVFAC E-Solicitations (ESOL) at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. This procurement is not restricted. The NAICS is 23511 with a size standard of $11.5 MIL.
