- The 10th Air Base Wing Contracting Flight, USAF Academy, CO, is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Ansul R-102 Wet Chemical Systems. This solicitation has been approved as a Brand Name Only; no _or equals_ will be accepted. This solicitation has been prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13 and supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. This constitutes the only Request for Quotation; a written statement will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The proposed solicitation listed here is set aside 100 percent for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 325998 [Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) number is 2899], and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Women and small disadvantaged business are encouraged to submit offers. An electronic RFQ for this requirement is at _Solicitation_ and a Statement of Work is also provided at this posting; these provide more specific information. The Government intends to issue a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the contractor to meet the Government requirement and price [Low Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA).] Offers are due by 3:00 p.m. MST on 20 February 2001. Quotes must be valid for 60 calendar days after close of the solicitation. All attachments used to make up the RFQ will be incorporated at the time of award. No telephone requests please.
