Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This requirement is issued on a Sole Source restricted basis. The government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for NSN 4310-01-339-7785, electric driven explosion proof breathing pump (three man outlet), model NF23-1. Quantity: 12 Ea. Manufactured by Rhine Air, Incorporated, 10744 Prospect Avenue, Suite A, Santee, CA 92071. POC: Eric Rein, Phone: (619) 449-6520. The North American Industry Classification System number is 333411 and the small business standard is 500 employees. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.213, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. The following Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Quotes must show at a minimum; 1) The name, address, and telephone number of the offeror; 2) terms of any express warranty; 3) items separately priced; 4) Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3 and 5) quotes submitted are to include a statement specifying the extent of the agreement with all terms and conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. The quote must be signed by an official authorized to bind your company. Offerors that fail to furnish required representation and certifications, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation, may be excluded from consideration. Offers must be received by close of business 12 February 2001, 4:00pm Central Standard Time. In the event that the government does not receive any offers that precludes us from issuing this purchase order, sole source purchase order shall be issued 13 February 2001. Facsimile quotations are acceptable with confirmation via telephone and signed receipt by someone from this office. Provide Cage Code Number on all quotes. F.O.B. Point is Destination.
