Description

Nomenclature: Cooler, Cryogenic, NSN: 5855-01-472-6667, PN: 4007617-1 to be procured under a requirements contract for assets required during fiscal years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. Projected procurement quantities will be 38 each in FY01. FY 02 and FY 03, a minimum of 5 each and a maximum of 50 each. FY 04 and FY 05, a minimum of 5 each and a maximum of 38 each. The total maximum quantity over the five-year contract period will be 214 each. Orders will be issued one or more times as requirements materialize. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Destination to be furnished. Delivery schedule 110 days after contract award. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm(s) listed.
