- Description
- The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Image Control for a Reconditioned ISI/SR40A scanning electron microscope. This microscope features an extra large chamber, retractable scintillation-based Robinson backscatter detector, PC-based EDS system (pc included) and Orion Image Processor (Light Version). This microscope is intended for the microstructural analysis of novel materials in the Ceramics Group. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated award is on or about 2/22/01. See numbered Notes 1 and 22.
