Description

Provide dairy products for the Defense Commissary Agency stores in North Carolina located in the Southern Area, Eastern Region. Items include: fluid milk (Whole, Chocolate, Skim, Lowfat, Buttermilk, and Eggnog); milk products (Sour Cream, Heavy Creams, Yogurt, and Cottage Cheese) and Orange Juice. This acquisition will be on an unrestricted basis with the proposed contract award as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price basis with monthly Economic Price Adjustments (EPA). Contracts will be awarded on an all-or-none basis per group using two geographical groupings of stores to offerors who submit the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The groups and their estimated yearly requirements have been setup as follows: GROUP 1: Fort Bragg-North, Fort Bragg-South, and Pope AFB (938,023 containers of fluid milk; 24,978 containers of milk products, and 160 containers of orange juice); GROUP 2: Camp LeJeune, Cherry Point, New River, and Seymour Johnson (860,239 containers of fluid milk; 36,695 containers of milk products, and 0 containers of orange juice). Each store will be allocated a percentage of diary case space to the awardee. The anticipated contract period is May 1, 2001 through April 30, 2002, with two one-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 28, 2001, with initial proposals due on or about March 21, 2001. This acquisition will be unrestricted. Only written requests will be honored.
