Description: The US Navy is soliciting for the manufacture and delivery of a plastic media abrasive blast booth and associated equipment to Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC), China Lake, California. The booth will consist of an enclosure with inside dimensions of 15 ft. wide, 12 ft. high and 20 ft. long and include a media recovery system, plastic media blasting system, dust collecting system, operator safety equipment, and electrical controls. Services include providing documentation and submittals for electrical, structural and mechanical design, installation drawings and instructions, operating and maintenance manuals, and providing a manufacturer's representative on site during installation, start-up, testing and training. Installation will be by others. The manufacturer shall have a minimum of five years successful experience in fabricating and installing equipment of the same size and type specified. Award will be based on best value. Factors to be considered in contract award are (1) technical, (2) Past performance, (3) Price and any additional indications of work quality.
