Description

The Government intends to issue a sole source modification under contract N00612-95-D-0090 for purposes of providing initial quantity of spare parts to RADIAC calibration laboratories as ready repair parts to support emergent requirements for ships afloat. The repair parts shall be used to support the Multifunction RADIAC (MFR) System. The MFR System currently consist of the Multifunction RADIAC Control Unit (MFRCU), which is a portable handheld instrument containing an internal gamma detector in addition to external probe capabilities designed for use in applications where the detection and measurement of alpha, beta, gamma, X-ray, and neutron radiation must be determined. In addition to the MFRCU, the MFR System includes a Gamma Beta Probe and Beta Probe Interface. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is 334519 and the size standard is 500. This modification will be issued on a sole source basis to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), 1601 West Bernardo Drive, San Diego, CA 92127.
