In accordance with FAR 9.2 and Public Law 98.525, this synopsis constitutes notice that the Air Force has established Qualification Requirements (QR's) for the overhaul of the following item: OVERWING FAIRING ACTUATOR AND CONTROL MODULE, NSN 4140-01-277-2800HS, PN 3820020- 105. THE ITEM PROVIDES POSITIONING FOR THE OVERWING FAIRING ON THE B-1 AIRCRAF. This is not an RFP. No solicitation document exists. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR OVERHAUL OF SUBJECT ITEM ARE SET FORTH ON PAGES 4 AND 5 OF THE BOOKLET. OVERHAUL SOURCES THAT HAVE PRODUCED ACTUAL OR SMILAR ITEMS WILL BE CONSIDIERED. The approximate issue/response date will be 27 FEB 2001. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
