Description

This is an amendment to the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) transition program (formerly known as Miniaturized Munitions Capability) presolicitation notice posted in FedBizOpps on 31 January 2001. The purposes of this modification are to withdraw the restriction limiting companies to four attendees for the 22 February 2001 Industry Day and to provide additional information and directions. Industry Day will be held at Building 439, Special Operations Auditorium. Directions from the West Gate (Ft. Walton/Shalimar) are to proceed on Eglin Blvd for approximately 3.6 miles, enter left turn lane at West Avenue and go approximately .2 mile, at the stop sign, cross Eglin Blvd and enter the Base Library parking lot. This is the only designated parking area for Industry Day. Cross Eglin Blvd at the crosswalk and the auditorium entrance will be directly in front of you. Directions from the East Gate (Valparaiso/Niceville) are to proceed on Eglin Blvd for approximately 1 mile, you will see the crosswalk between the Base Library and the auditorium. Turn right into the Base Library parking lot, cross Eglin Blvd at the crosswalk and the auditorium entrance will be directly in front of you.
