- SYNOPSIS: Request for Proposal (RFP) Number: DAAH23-01-R-0275; PRON: AX1F0128AX; NSN: 1620-01-207-7482; Quantity: 320 each (Min)/1320 each (Max), First Year: 320 each, Second Year: 250 each, Third Year: 250 each, Fourth Year: 250 each, Fifth Year: 250 each; Part Number: 70250-12105-043; Restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., and TRIG Aerospace (Derlan Inc.); Noun: Drag Brace, Landing Gear; NAICS Code: 336413; Closing Date: 2001 March 23; Applicable to the UH-60 Aircraft. The closing date annotated is an estimate and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Deliveries are FOB destination to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing (FAT) is 40 each 263 days after contract award (DACA), and 40 each per month thereafter until shipped complete. First Article Test Report (FATR) is due 198 DACA. Required delivery without FAT is 40 each 210 DACA, and 40 each per month thereafter until shipped complete. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by submitting a source approval request (SAR) package to AMCOM, AMSAM-AR-EI-FS/James Procyk, (256) 313-4907, Building 5681, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000.
