Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Officer Tactical Aircraft Programs {PEO(T)}, plans to award contract(s) for the Lot 2 U.S. production of the Multifunctional Information Distribution System Low Volume Terminal (MIDS-LVT). Contract award is planned for July 2001. The planned contract(s) award will be based upon full and open competition. The planned contract(s) will be firm fixed price. In accordance with the MIDS-LVT Acquisition Strategy Report, annual requirements for production terminals shall be continuously competed. All offerors must be able to demonstrate an ability to achieve successful completion of MIDS-LVT(1) FAQT and interchangeability testing requirements within 6-months of contract award. The solicitation, which will be issued on or about 2 March 2001, and any amendments thereto, will be provided upon request. The applicable Request for Proposal (RFP) number is N00039-01-R-2100.
