Requirement is ARG00153045003. Storage Batteries to be furnished iaw Spec Mil-Perf-49450 Rev B WITH FIRST ARTICLE TESTING required. Commercial notice -- when the the GOVERNMENT does not intend to use PART 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures- FAR 5.206(e)(4). Automated Best Value System (ABVS) will be used in evaluation. Requirement will result in an Indefinte Quantity Contract with 4 option years. Delivery schedule after first article testing approval/waiver is as follows. Direct vendor deliveries (after 90 day start-up) is 30 days; stock buys = 120 days. Solicitation is unrestricted and due to the chemical composition requirements evaluation/award will be on an "All or None basis only.
