Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for furnishing and delivering: Herbicide -- Active ingredient fluridone: 1-methyl-3-phenyl-5-[3-trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4(1 H )-pyridinone 41.7%; Inert ingredients 58.3%, containing 4 pounds of active ingredient per gallon. Quantity: 350 gallons, in one-gallon containers. Delivery destination is Chattahoochee, Florida. Commercial item provisions 52.212-1/3/4 and 5 apply. This is an unrestricted acquisition and all responsive, responsible offers will be considered. The SIC is 2879, the size standard of which is a concern who has less than 500 employees. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Offerors are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation at the following Internet site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/sam/ct. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED requests for solicitation will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the mailing list.
