Description

This is a modification to the synopsis for FISC Norfolk = Detachment=20 Philadelphia's Request for Proposal N00140-01-R-4471 for a contractor = to=20 provide direct labor, supervision, administrative support, materials = and=20 supplies to operate and maintain the West Coast Naval Inactive Ship = Maintenance=20 Facility(NISMF). The Standard Industrial Code 3731 has been deleted = and=20 replaced with the North Amercian Industry Classification System (NAICS) = Code=20 336611. A pre-proposal conference and a site visit will be held at the = Naval=20 Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility Bremerton, WA, Resource Center = Conference=20 Facility, Bldg. 864, Naval Station Bremerton, WA at 10:00 A.M. on = Wednesday,=20 February 28, 2001. Questions will be answered relative to this = procurement. =20 All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order = to make=20 the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to = submit any=20 questions they may have in writing to the Contract Negotiator, Mary Lou = Dickens, Code 02P13A, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk = Detachment=20 Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Avenue, Bldg 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083 = by 12:00=20 PM (Local Philadelphia, PA time) on Monday, February 26, 2001. The = offeror=20 shall also notify in writing of the names of those company officials = with=20 social security numbers, vehicle identification/ (if known) and proof = of=20 insurance who plan to intend the conference by 12:00 PM (Local = Philadelphia, PA=20 time) on Monday, February 26, 2001 to the attention of the Contract = Negotiator,=20 Mary Lou Dickens at (215)697-9569 (fax) or by email=20 mary_lou_dickens@phil.fisc.navy.mil. In order to be granted access to = the=20 Naval Station Bremerton, attendees should be prepared to present a = valid driver' s license, with proof of insurance and/or rental car agreement. = Failure of a=20 prospective offeror to submit any questions or to attend the conference = will be=20 construed to mean that the offeror fully understands all requirements = of the=20 solicitation. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal=20 conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the = specifications=20 and terms and conditions of this solicitation. All prospective = offerors are=20 advised that at the conclusion of the conference, unless this = solicitation is=20 amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and, that if an amendment = is=20 issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of = any=20 such amendment shall be applicable.
