- Description
- This synopsis is for a contractor to provide the finish machine work required on two each 378-rudder blade castings. Following the machining of the rudder blade castings, the rudder blade and rudder stock tapers shall be brought into tolerance by hand working and verified by bluing inspections. The machining will be performed IAW Coast Guard drawing 378-FRAME-E-562-001 Rev. B, Rudder, CG drawing 378-FRAME-E-562-010-Revision-, Rudder Support System, and MIL-STD-2845E-preservation and packaging of associated repair parts. These documents will be provided as a part of the solicitation package. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 86, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. The contract will be a one-time buy; and this is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 81131. The Coast Guard anticipates issuing the quote approximately fifteen (15) days after date of this publication. With a closing date thirty days from the issuance date.
